Dr Nic Cher

Principal Vet, South Brisbane Vet

Welcome to our vet clinic in West End. I'm Dr Nic and I lead a wonderful team of veterinarians and nurses to provide tailored veterinary care for your pet. We are on the same page as you: our pets are our family, our fur children, and we want to give them the best possible care so they have the best quality of life at an affordable price.

Our team's key strengths:

  • itchy pets,

  • senior pets (8+ years), particularly where you're looking to  ensure quality of life and get a little more time with them, and

  • pets with sensitive stomachs.   

Our approach to veterinary care

For us here at South Brisbane Vet, our starting point is Compassion. We live it, breathe it, and it permeates everything we do. We have a strong focus on:

  • pain management,

  • reducing anaesthetic risk associated  with sick geriatric patients.

We believe every veterinary patient is unique and we tailor our treatment plan accordingly to your pet's needs. This means that we listen - from our vet to our nurses - we are here for you and your furry love ones. We also seek to inform, without the jargon, to tell you what you need and to provide you with as much certainty as the circumstances allow.
